Chiropodist and Podiatrist

What is Chiropody ?
A Chiropodist / Podiatrist is a qualified foot specialist. The practice of chiropody is the assessment of the foot and the treatment and prevention of diseases, disorders or dysfunctions of the foot by therapeutic, orthotic or palliative means. Chiropodists and Podiatrists are interchangeable terms, and are the only regulated foot professionals educated exclusively in the assessment and treatment of foot disorders.
George Panagiotopoulos D.Ch has been trained specifically and extensively in the diagnosis and treatment of all foot related conditions. This training encompasses all of the intricately related systems and structures of the foot and lower leg including neurological, circulatory, skin, and the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves.
